Helppohoitoinen.
Mercury Diesel 3.0L -moottorin huoltaminen on helppoa, koska huoltokohteet on sijoitettu moottorin etuosaan. Öljyn, jäähdytysaineen, sulakkeiden, merivesisuodattimen, vetolaitteen voiteluaineen (vain sisäperämoottorit) ja ohjaustehostinnesteen (vain sisäperämoottorit) huoltokohteet sijaitsevat moottorin etuosassa Mercuryn värikoodatun huoltoaikataulun vieressä, jotta huolto-ohjeet ovat helposti ymmärrettävissä ja käytettävissä.

Uudet korkeanopeuksiset Mercury Diesel 3.0L (common rail) yhteispaineruiskumoottorit tuottavat ainutlaatuisen suorituskyvyn ja parantavat merkittävästi kiihtyvyyttä ja huippunopeutta uuden vesijäähdytteisen VGT-turboahdinmallin ansiosta. Veneilystä nauttiminen on helpompaa moottorilla, joka suoriutuu erinomaisesti päivästä toiseen. Mercury Diesel 3.0L -moottorit tuottavat äärimmäisen suorituskyvyn, mutta samalla mahdollisimman vähän värinää ja ääntä, kun ilmansuodatin toimii myös vaimentimena, joka poistaa perinteisesti dieselmoottoreihin yhdistetyn turbon vihellyksen. Moottorin kiinnikkeet on suunniteltu niin, että värinä on mahdollisimman vähäistä. Keskusteleminen veneillessä ei ole koskaan ollut helpompaa.
Mercury Joystick Piloting sisämoottoreille
Ainoa joystick-ohjausjärjestelmä, joka on yhteensopiva bensiini- ja dieselkäyttöisten sisämoottoreiden sekä vetourheilumoottoreiden kanssa.

Korroosionestoa.
Mercuryn dieselit sisältävät huippumodernin korroosiosuojajärjestelmän mukaan lukien termostaattisesti ohjatun, suljetun vesijäähdytysjärjestelmän. Vesijäähdytetty moottoriöljy, vaihdeöljy ja ohjausneste vähentävät konehuoneen lämpötiloja lisäten moottorin käyttöikää. SeaCore®-järjestelmä on saatavilla äärimmäistä merivesisuojausta varten.
