Joystick Piloting for Outboards and Electric Steering
SeaPro outboards with the Advanced MidSection (standard on V10 350hp; available for V8 300hp) are compatible with Mercury Joystick Piloting for Outboards (JPO) for multi-engine applications as well as the latest Mercury Electric Steering system. JPO provides fingertip control to move forward, sideways or even rotate in place for easy, confident maneuvers in tight spaces. Electric Steering enhances handling and responsiveness for exceptional vessel control, particularly when using JPO. The Electric Steering system’s advanced power-saving design reduces power consumption by more than 50% over the previous electro-hydraulic steering system, leaving more power for running other onboard accessories.
Digital Throttle & Shift Controls
Standard with V10 and V8 AMS SeaPro outboards and available for V8 and V6 CMS SeaPro outboards, Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS) controls deliver smooth, quiet shifting and instant throttle response, with zero hesitation. Active Trim
Active Trim can help you get the job done more efficiently by automatically trimming the engine. It simplifies boat operation while improving engine performance and decreasing fuel costs. An exclusive top cowl service door simplifies routine maintenance, letting you check or add engine oil without removing the top cowl. The service door also houses the latch release and a convenient carrying handle.
A graphic, hour-based maintenance schedule decal is conveniently located under the cowl and provides a quick overview of routine maintenance intervals and a QR code to access additional information. All maintenance points are color-coded to further speed up regular service.
